Jaclyn DeGiorgio likes to call Milan “Italy’s best unkept secret.” She would know. She left New York more than a decade ago and, after a year in Rome, has been living in Milan for nine and a half years.
Very interesting and full of valuable insight. As a fellow New Yorker relocating to Italy and trying to choose between Rome and Milan, was great to hear Jaclyn's point of view.
Both cities have their merits. I love Rome for its beauty, history, and character, but if you want to live in a cosmopolitan, internationally minded city, Milan might be the place for you.
